Confidence
The word is often defined as, “a feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities.”
However, our own abilities are unreliable; they aren’t consistent or constant. Our talents, emotions and circumstances are always subject to change. But, God never does. Amen?
As Christians, we are not called to rely on our own strength, but fully place our trust, faith, hope and complete confidence in who He is and who God says we are.
In the world, confidence is found looking in the mirror; in the Kingdom, confidence is found looking at Christ. Don't let your circumstances keep your head down, hide the Word of God in your heart and look UP!
Here is what the Bible has to say about confidence:

But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.
